Mr Adam Strong is a 60 year old patient with who was just being seen by your colleague, Dr. Smith. Dr. Smith had to leave in the middle of the consultation due to an emergency and has asked you to talk to the patient about starting prednisolone for his rheumatoid arthritis.

Please explain to the patient what the steroid does and inform them of any potential side effects. Answer any questions they may have. You have 5 minutes before your next patient arrives.
